A detailed planning application has been sent to North Dorset Council this month for the replacement of a dated timber framed bungalow with 2 detached chalet bungalows.
The large double corner plot lends itself to redevelopment, having a width of some 25 metres. The 2 proposed dwellings, of circa 1150 square feet each, sit very well on the land with good sized south facing gardens. The right hand chalet will benefit from a large side garden, which will offer extra room for parking/storage plus an extra (existing) vehicle access point off of Green Close.
The accommodation for each property will offer 3 double bedrooms, a first floor bathroom, a ground floor shower room and a kitchen/breakfast room with a separate sitting room overlooking the rear garden.
Subject to planning approval, the construction work is expected to start late 2021/early 2022.
