Planning Application Submitted – Stanpit, Christchurch 17/02/2020
After many months of work with various Consultants, we are pleased to report that detailed planning permission has been submitted for a residential development of 5 new homes in the popular area of Stanpit, Christchurch.
Jon Winson of Karm said – ‘Our proposals were well received by the local planning authority at pre-application stage so we hope we can soon achieve full planning permission for this development. The new homes will comprise two, 3 bedroom semi-detached houses and three, 3 bedroom townhouses at the rear, with all units having gardens and 2 parking spaces each. The existing bungalow to the front of the site will be refurbished as part of the overall scheme. The entrance to the driveway will be widened to assist access and the 3 large Holm Oak trees and embankment will be protected by a wall of railway sleepers. It should provide a lovely secluded estate once complete.’
The old house at number 17 is currently divided into 2 flats and sits at an awkward angular position within the plot. This will be demolished along with 3 detached garages to make way for the new houses.
